I love drinking coffee and I also love traditional pencil drawing. I have found my perfect house blend — Coffee + Pencil. Mixing the two mediums creates a rich look. As I alternate between coffee and pencil the painting gets deeper with each added layer.
A lot of interest in painting with coffee has been generated because of a feature article in the Marin Independent Journal on my coffee art. This “buzz” has encouraged me to start some Coffee Painting Workshops. The next one will be held in September 2015. Contact me if you are interested in taking a coffee workshop or for more information.
